RETURNS And Cancellations
We do not accept returns or cancellations. If you have an issue with your purchase, please message LynnandGail. The response is usually within one to two hours. If, for some reason, we have reached an agreement to return an item, at no fault of LynnandGail, the buyer is responsible for paying the return shipping cost. The item must arrive in the condition received.If the item is damaged in transit, the buyer is responsible for filing a claim with the carrier, and no refund from LynnandGail is forthcoming.

Item Arrived Damaged:

If your purchase arrived damaged, please notify us within two days of receipt. We will assist you in filing a claim. You must submit;
1. pictures of the damaged item
2. Pictures of the box, fragile label, photos showing any damage to the container, and if there is an inside shipping box, photograph the inside shipping box as well
3. All wrapping
4. Once a claim is filed on your behalf, you will receive a claim number from the carrier via Lynnandgail. Take all wrapping paper, extra boxing, etc., along with the outside box and content to the carrier (USPS)., etc. The courier will give you a receipt, photograph the receipt, and forward a copy to LynnandGail. No resolution will be made until LynnandGail receive confirmation the item has been dropped off with the carrier. ( The buyer is responsible for helping file a claim).

Mid Century Modern 1950s metal Christmas candy canes and a metal oval basket for your consideration. The items were purchased at a local auction. These are rare items. I have searched over three weeks trying to locate a manufacturer or a set online. I have been unsuccessful. The owner of the item’s were at the auction where the items were purchased. She shared with me the story how her family came in possessions of the items. Their neighbors were moving in 1952 to another state. The items were a gift to her mother. Her mother recently died, she is purging item’s the family doesn’t want.

The pictures are a visual description of the candy canes and basket. The candy cane has a metal bow with red, yellow, and green painted dots or circles. There is loop for hanging the candy canes and a threaded screw to attach a stake to use as a yard display. It is obvious the candy canes has been repainted.

The oval basket is heavy with red and white painted twisted metal surrounding the basket rim and handle. The oval metal sit on a scalloped oval metal plate with red and white decor surrounding the edge.

Condition : paint loss on all three items. No rust on the metal canes. The basket does have surface rust, nothing deep.
