This offering is for an Anchor Hocking Cobalt Blue glass pie pan with a handle and scalloped inside rim to make that perfect indentation on your crust—nine inches, deep dish, one-quart pie plate, Sold separately.


Each year, I make the perfect flaky pie crust for forty years using my Granny’s recipe. It never fails me.

Recipe
1 1/4 cup Shortening or Lard,
3 cups of all-purpose flour
One whole egg
Two teaspoons of white vinegar ( yes, vinegar)
1/2 teaspoon salt
5 Tablespoons of ice water
Mix the flour and salt by stirring with a whisk, a pastry blender, or a fork. If you don’t have a pastry blender, cut the shortening or lard into the flour until you see pea-size flour balls, or use your judgment; the flour and shortening must be mixed very well or come together.

Next put the egg, vinegar, and water in a bowl, using a fork, beat the wet ingredients until they are mixed. I don’t usually use all of the liquor. You want to add liquor one teaspoon at a time stirring until your crust firm a cohesive ball. You can use it at this point or wrap it and place it in the refrigerator until you are ready. I normally make my pie crust up a day before I bake my bourbon chocolate chip pecan pie, yummy. Okay, that recipe will have to wait.



RETURNS And Cancellations
We do not accept returns or cancellations. If you have an issue with your purchase, please message LynnandGail. The response is usually within one to two hours. If, for some reason, we have reached an agreement to return an item, at no fault of LynnandGail, the buyer is responsible for paying the return shipping cost. The item must arrive in the condition received. If the item is damaged in transit, the buyer is responsible for filing a claim with the carrier, and no refund from LynnandGail is forthcoming.

Item Arrived Damaged:

If your purchase arrived damaged, please notify us within two days of receipt. We will assist you in filing a claim. You must submit;
1. pictures of the damaged item
2. Pictures of the box, fragile label, photos showing any damage to the container, and if there is an inside shipping box, photograph the inside shipping box as well
3. All wrapping
4. Once a claim is filed on your behalf, you will receive a claim number from the carrier via Lynnandgail. Take all wrapping paper, extra boxing, etc., along with the outside box and content to the carrier (USPS)., etc. The courier will give you a receipt, photograph the receipt, and forward a copy to LynnandGail. No resolution will be made until LynnandGail receive confirmation the item has been dropped off with the carrier. ( The buyer is responsible for helping file a claim).
