This offering is for Franciscan Dinnerware, consisting of cups and saucers, sugar and creamer, bread and butter plates, and salt and pepper shaker, all in good to excellent vintage condition.

Franciscan dinnerware was launched in 1934 by Gladding, McBean, and Company in Glendale. The line initially sold pottery featuring bright colors with designs inspired by Mexican folk pottery.

In 1941 the company released two China-patterns featuring a raised-relief hand-painted pattern; Franciscan Apple and California Desert Rose. The Desert Rose pattern w in Vision by Annette Honeywell, and designed by Mary Winans. The next fifty years, California Desert Rose became the most popular dinnerware pattern in America. It was chosen as one of the top 500 patterns of the 20th century.. Dessert Rose was exclusively produced in the United States between 1942-1984. In 1980, the pattern was purchased by Wedgewood in England, and production in the USA ceased.

This offering consists of twenty pieces produced in the USA.

Condition: The salt and pepper shakers shows some wear, the remaining of the pieces show some no signs ofbreakager

RETURNS And Cancellations
We do not accept returns or cancellations. If you have an issue with your purchase, please message LynnandGail. The response is usually within one to two hours. If, for some reason, we have reached an agreement to return an item, at no fault of LynnandGail, the buyer is responsible for paying the return shipping cost. The item must arrive in the condition received.If the item is damaged in transit, the buyer is responsible for filing a claim with the carrier, and no refund from LynnandGail is forthcoming.

Item Arrived Damaged:

If your purchase arrived damaged, please notify us within two days of receipt. We will assist you in filing a claim. You must submit;
1. pictures of the damaged item
2. Pictures of the box, fragile label, photos showing any damage to the container, and if there is an inside shipping box, photograph the inside shipping box as well
3. All wrapping
4. Once a claim is filed on your behalf, you will receive a claim number from the carrier via Lynnandgail. Take all wrapping paper, extra boxing, etc., along with the outside box and content to the carrier (USPS)., etc. The courier will give you a receipt, photograph the receipt, and forward a copy to LynnandGail. No resolution will be made until LynnandGail receive confirmation the item has been dropped off with the carrier. ( The buyer is responsible for helping file a claim).
