Free Shipping: Vintage Fosteria cube motif rum well pedestal cake stand in the American pattern. Fostoria called this ten-inch round pedestal cake stand a Salver. Fostoria introduced the American design in 1915 and continued production until the 1983 purchase of their factory by Lancaster Colony. The pedestal is joined by three seems, helping to identify the authenticity of the cake stand as being an authentic American Cube by Fostoria. The cake stand weighs five pounds and is three ounces unboxed.

I purchased this cake stand at an estate sale whereby the owner was a collector of Fostoria Glass. The previous owner had 1950 written on a note on a shelf under the cake stand. The plate was a gift to her from her husband. I have several other pieces of Fostoria American from the estate sale I will list.

Condition: I examined the cake plate and found no signs of breakage; it will receive a second go-around before shipping.
