Antique toothpick holder, a whirling star design with a center star cut. The knotted bummy, toothy cut between the whirling star pattern, I believe, is called a zipper cut. It has a clear bottom. It glows a yellowish-line green under UV light; therefore, I estimated the date somewhere in the late 1800s or very early 1900s based on my online research. It is a lovely toothpick holder to hold your toothpicks in your bar. Give the toothpick holder as a gift, or display it on a shelf—a great piece for collectors of toothpick holders.
