Stunning Viking Glass Epic line Rooster (aka Kellogg Rooster) in rare Ruby Red. Amberina glows under a black light! Gorgeous and hard to find.

These were called the Kellogg Rooster because they are a copy of the Rooster shown on the boxes of Kellogg's Corn Flakes. They were commissioned by Kellogg and made by Viking Glass.

The Proud and Beautiful Ruby Red Rooster is highly valued, as only 56 were made. It is a lovely piece to add to your home or collection

“He will be Highly Prized as the difficulty in unmolding limited the number available to approximately 56. Some of the 56 show signs of "difficult birth" and have straw marks.”

Flaws: There is a burst air bubble on the top of his head and base, manufacturer's lines (straw marks) that appear as breakage near the neck area, but they are not; there are no jagged edges to indicate breakage. This item is made using the pressed glass method, so there are lines and some glass left over on his tail feather that's sharp; still no glass breakage on the overlap from his tail when he was removed from the mold. There are no signs of any breakage; all flaws are manufacturer flaws. I bought him at an auction recently. There were ten of us bidding for this little fellow, and I won.
